A memorial service honoring the life of Jerome D. “Jerry” Rogers, Sr., 61, of Many, was held on Feb. 13 at Beulah Baptist Church. The Rev. Kenneth Leach officiated. Rogers was born on Dec. 29, 1953 in Many. He entered into eternal rest on Feb. 9, 2015 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center. He worked as a forester for Boise Cascade for a number of years. He was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Bernice Lovelady Rogers; wife, Estelle Bonnie Ebarb and brothers, Robert and Travis Rogers. He is survived by his children, Jerry Rogers, Jr. and wife, Kim, Chris Rogers and mom, Margaret Jones Pratt, April Zirbes and husband, Josh, Mandy Smith; grandchildren, Brandon Rogers, Katelyn Rogers, Malorie Rogers, Abby Rogers, Kennedy Rogers, McKenzie Rogers, Keegan Zirbes, Emma Zirbes, Philip Smith, and Taylor Smith; sisters, Laverne Cardinow, Pam Rogers; brothers, James Rogers and wife, Ann, Eugene Rogers and wife, Mary, and O.L Rogersand a host of family and friends.
