    Funeral Services for Mary Jane Phillips, 95, of Many, were held on Dec. 30 at First Baptist Church of Many with the Rev. Joe Ratcliff and Bro. James Tidwell officiating. Burial followed in the Many Cemetery. Mary Jane Phillips was born on Sunday, March 23, 1919 in Many. She passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 at Sabine Retirement & RehabilitationCenter in Many. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary White Dees; husband, JosephWayne Phillips; grandson, PatrickWayne Fisher; son-in-law, LarryFisher; four brothers, Eldon Dees,Doris Dees, Joseph Edward “Buddy” Dees and Edwin Lee Dees and one  sister, Marguerite Sanders. She is survived by her daughter,Gayle Phillips Fisher of Many alongwith a host of nieces, nephews andfriends.Pallbearers were Mark Jordan,ames Tidwell, Jr., Duane Dowden,Dayton Dowden, Dereck Dees andRobby Lang.onorary Pallbearers were Deacons of the First Baptist Church of Many.
