Funeral Services for Rula Vain Rogers, 80, of Zwolle, were held on Monday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Tim Hurd officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery of Zwolle. Rula Vain Rogers was born on Thursday, March 22, 1934 in Center, Texas. He passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at his home in Zwolle. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louie Denby Rogers; son, Randy Rogers and granddaughter, Ashley Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Leara Cecilia Rogers of Zwolle; daughters, Vivian Garcie of Keithville, Daisy Rogers of Zwolle, Debbie Hunter of Zwolle, Pam Garner of Bossier City, Felicia Bass of Ebarb, Donna Manshack of Noble and Stacey Myers of Converse; sons, Nathan Rogers of Many, Terry Ray Bass of Zwolle, Gary Bass of San Diego, Calif., Greg Bass of Haughton, Sandy Bass of Hobbs, N.M., Christopher Bass of Zwolle and Clinton Bass of Zwolle; brother, Ervin Parrie of Calco, Texas; thirty-three grandchildren; thirty- nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Dakota Malmay, Allen Garcie, William Self, Frank Monato, Mike Myers and Eathan Hunter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Bass and John Garcie.
