Larry D. McNeely, 50, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014. Larry died unexpectedly at home after suffering a heart attack. He was born on Feb. 23, 1964 to Victor and Dixie McNeely and lived his entire life in his beloved Many. A Memorial Service was held on Nov. 9 beginning at 2 p.m. at Friendship Nazarene Church, Robeline. Larry grew up in Sabine Parish and received a diploma in Computer Specialist Applications. Dedicated to the town of Many, he spent his time volunteering for the fire department. Larry was also a proud member of the Amateur Radio Club of Sabine and an official Skywarn Trained Observer. Larry’s loving and generous spirit continues to touch lives. It was his desire that when he passed on, if he could help improve or even save someone’s life by organ donation, we ould honor and respect hiswishes. Larry was a very compassionate and caring person whose greatest desire in life was to help other people. He will be greatly missed. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Dixie McNeely and his grandmother, Darlene Dillard. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Vicky Sanders and his nieces, Brooklynn and Alexis Sanders all of Natchitoches, and a host of relatives and friends.
