A Memorial Service for John Thomas Lane, Sr., 76, of Many, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many, with the Reverends George Treutlein, Ken Freeman, Ryan Masters officiating. Burial will follow in the Many Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 5 p.m. at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many. John Thomas Lane, Sr. was born on Friday, June 17, 1938 in Bradley, Ark. He passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Charlene Bennett Lane; wife, Helen Lane and brother, Marion Virgil Lane, Jr. He is survived by his sons, Tommy Lane and wife, Sheree, of Many, Randy Troutman and wife, Kim, of Many, daughter, Debbie Masters and husband, Rodney, of Many; sisters, Lola Fay Starling of Magnolia, Ark. and Peggy Price of Louisville, Ark.; brothers, Billy Lane of Richland, Texas, Albert Lane of San Diego, Calif., Charles Lane of Savannah, Ga., Robert Lane of Virginia Beach, Va. and Calvin Lane of Shreveport; grandchildren, Ryan Masters and fiancé, Tanya James, Lane Masters and wife, Kelly, Alan Masters, Bradley Troutman, Shelby Troutman, Laura Mayeaux, Mark Worsham, Sarah Jett, Jordan Lane and Cameron Lane; great grandchildren, Joel Masters, Katelyn Masters, Sarah Masters, Dylan Masters, Phoebe Troutman and Hadley Mayeaux along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
