Funeral services for Shelby Lucille Rutherford 82 of Many, were held on Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Many. The Reverends Mike Henderson and Louis Slaughter officiated. Interment followed in the Warren Cemetery. Shelby was born on Feb. 17, 1932 in Fisher. She entered into eternal rest on Nov. 1, 2014 at Many Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Lucy Phelps Russell; husband, Marron Howard Rutherford; son, Terry Rutherford; sister Helen Eicher; brothers, Sid Russell and Clinton Russell. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Rutherford and wife, Terri, Larry Rutherford, Mike Rutherford and wife, Shirley; daughters, Marion Self and husband, Charles, Sheila Snell and Leon; sister, Kirby Hayes; brother, Bill Russell and wife, Norma; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. Honoring her as pallbearers were Doug Rutherford, Justin Rutherford, Chris Rutherford, Joshua Rutherford, Nathan Rutherford, Clayton Rutherford, Dustin Rutherford, Clay Self.
