    Funeral services for Sharon Lynn Cook, 65, of Tomball, Texas, were held on Oct. 30, beginning at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Florien with Bros. Wayne Chance and Lewis Slaughter officiating. Burial followed in the Antioch Cemetery of Florien. Sharon Lynn Cook was born on Monday, May 23, 1949 in  Oakdale. She passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 at Tomball Regional Hospital in Tomball, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Harold and Miami Dunn and brother, Mike Dunn. She is survived by her son, James Cook and wife, Jennifer, of San Leon, Texas; sisters, Debra Funderburk and husband, Benny, of Many and Sheila Burnett and husband, Tom, of Florien; sister-in-law, Nancy Dunn of Florien; beloved friend, Pat George of Tomball, Texas; grandchildren, Danielle Davis, PFC Steven Davis USMC, Nicholas Davis, Kaitlin Davis, BreAnna Cook and Hunter Cook; along with a host of nieces, nephews  and friends. Pallbearers were Benji Funderburk, Michael Dunn, Jeremy Burnett, Jonathan Burnett, Nicholas Davis and Steven Davis.
