    Funeral services for Jerry Fred Vines, 68, of Noble, were held on Oct. 25 beginning at 10 a.m. at Noble Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Price officiating. Burial followed in the Noble Cemetery. Noble. Jerry Fred Vines was born on Friday, January 11, 1946 in Noble. He passed away on, Oct. 22, 2014 at Abbeville General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mildred Procell Vines and his brother, Ted Vines. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Vines of Noble; son, Teddy D. Vines and wife, Lesley, of Lafayette; daughter, Tangee V. Durke and husband, Coy, of Abbeville; sister, Shirley V. Ebarb and husband, Joe, of Noble; brother, Curtis Vines and wife, Katherine, of Noble; three grandchildren, Coy Durke, II, Derek Vines and Trey Vines; one great grandchild, Paislee; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
