Funeral services for Richard “Ricky” Remedies, 48, of Pleasant Hill, were held on Saturday, Sept. 20, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many, with the Rev. Bill Craft officiating. Burial followed in the Spring Ridge Cemetery, Pleasant Hill. Ricky was born on Monday, March 14, 1966 in Sabine Parish. He passed away on Wednesday,
Sept. 17, 2014 in Many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund Remedies and Selina Sepulvado Remedies. He is survived by his wife, Susan Remedies of Pleasant Hill; one son, Christopher Imhoff of Ashville, N.C.; two sisters, Elaine Jett of Florien and Judy Remedies of Hardin, Texas; three brothers, Herman Remedies and wife, Patricia, of Many, David Remedies of Many, and Ray Remedies of Florien; beloved nephew, Gavin Gaspard of Pleasant Hill; beloved nieces, Victoria Gaspard of Many, and Brynn Wright of Florien; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Kyle Gaspard, Allen Remedies, Austin Gaspard, Durk Remedies, Jacob Gaspard, Mike Remedies, Braden Jett and Chris Jett. Honorary pallbearers were the employees of Boise.
