Funeral services for Mary Parker Kelly Nichols were held Saturday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Ken Pearson officiating. Interment followed at Gardens of Memory in Minden. Mary was born March 20, 1923 in Stamps, Ark. and entered into rest Sept. 13, 2014 in Baton Rouge. She was a LPN at Natchitoches Parish Hospital for a number of years. Mary enjoyed fishing, her prize-winning yard and garden, cooking for family and friends and above all love for her family and friends. Her husbands, James Edgar Kelly and Truman Nichols, daughters, Sandra Ann Turner and Linda Sue Frohlich, preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Rick Kelly and wife, Sheri of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Kelly Horton and husband, Ralph, John Davidson and wife, Christa, Brandon Kelly and wife, Nikki, Lea Kelly, Leigh Ann Walker and husband, Carl, Chris Turner and Mary Turner Southern; 12 greatgrandchildren and four great great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Brandon Kelly, John Davidson, Chris Turner, Cole Turner, Ryan Horton, and Cade Kelly.
