Funeral services for Nettie Mae Isgitt, 95, of Many, were held on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. E.E. Walker officiated. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Cemetery. Nettie was born on Aug. 10,
1919 in Negreet. She entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2014 at Many Healthcare North. She was preceded in death
by her parents Orie and Effie Mae Ammons; husband Alton Isgitt; daughter Marcella Walters; great-grandsons Cody Colton Remedies and Christopher Jame “CJ” Remedies; sister Martha Jean Ammons; brothers Cedric Ammons, and John Dale “J.D” Ammons. She is survived by sons, Glen Isgitt of Many, Michael Isgitt of Many, Joseph Isgitt and wife, Vicki, of Zachary; daughters Charlene Allen of Haughton, Charlotte Brittain of Hastings, Neb.; sister Chlorine Laroux of West Monroe; brother, Emmett Ammons of Picayune, Miss.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
