Joseph Remedes, 67, of Zwolle, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on July 30, 2022 in Many, Louisiana.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick’s Rose- Neath Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana. Funeral services honoring the life of Joseph will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Fr. Francis Kamau. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.

Joseph was born onMarch 25, 1955 in Zwolle, Louisiana to Louis Remedes, Sr. and Bertie Lee Parrie Remedes.

Nellie H. Cook was born on Monday, May 18, 1931 in Florien, LA. She passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at The Chateaus at Montclaire in Shreveport, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Cook, Sr., her parents, Willie Homer and Lurena D. Hopkins; her brothers, Malcolm B. Hopkins, Robert J. Hopkins and Willard H. Hopkins; her sister Ruth Hopkins; her son Jimmie W. Cook and granddaughter, Chelsea Cook.

A Life of Service and Honor William “Richard” Lollar III, a veteran of the Vietnam War and longtime resident of Zwolle, LA, passed away on July 23, 2022, with his loving wife, Dianne Dill Lollar, by his side, after a battle with cancer. Richard was born December 19, 1944, to William “Dick” and Hilda Walden Lollar in Shreveport, LA and graduated from Mansfield High School in 1963. He attended Northeast Louisiana State College for two years, then enlisted in the US Air Force at the height of the Vietnam War. When Richard returned home after his tour in 1969, he married his devoted sweetheart and wife of 53 years, Dianne.

Funeral services for George Sepulvado, 95, of Noble, LA, will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Earl Provenza officiating. George Marlon Sepulvado was born on Monday, October 11, 1926 in Ebarb, LA. He passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Sepulvado and Frances (Ebarb) Sepulvado; daughter, Loretta Lauzon; sons: Michael Sepulvado, Ted Sepulvado and Steven Sepulvado; brothers: Virgil Sepulvado, Frank Sepulvado and Simon Sepulvado; and his sisters: Minnie Bison, Lilly Sepulvado and Bertie Bragg.

Codi Renee Petit was born on Saturday, September 30, 1989 in Natchitoches, LA. She passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, LA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tommie McComic and her brother, Timothy McComic.

Graveside services for Sion Tatum, 87, of Many, LA, will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 9:30 AM at Converse Cemetery in Converse, LA, with Rev. Jimmy Price officiating.

Sion Smith Tatum passed away peacefully July 17, 2022, in Bryan, Texas. He was born in Converse, LA, in 1934 to Emma Winfree Tatum and Pierre Tanner Tatum. He had a strong moral compass, was loved by all who knew him and was always looking for ways to help others by sharing knowledge and advice. He attended Midway Baptist Church in Converse.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter-in-law Diane Tatum, his special grandmother Bula Boyd Winfree, and his dog, Lucky.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, his sons Terry and John and his grandson Jonathan.

Funeral services honoring the life of Dale Fowler, 61 of Converse, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Union Springs Baptist Church, Converse, Louisiana. Rev. Dale was born February 10, 1961, to Marion and Helen Fowler. He entered into rest on July 19, 2022.

David Brian McCormic was born on Friday, October 10, 1958 in Haughton, LA. He passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 in Many, LA.

David worked at Boise and was a faithful employee for 34 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved tinkering with cars, fishing and taking his grandkids to the lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Lindburg McCormic and Gloria Colleen McCormic.

Norma Downing Rose was born on Thursday, September 24, 1931 in Jackson, MS. She passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Byrd Hospital in Leesville, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil S. Downing and Flora Eva (Burney) Downing; husband, Robert C. Rose, Jr.; sister, Flora Ann Reno; and three brothers: Virgil Downing Jr., Dan Downing and Albert Downing.

Gina Linda Harris Sattler was born on Saturday, August 17, 1963 in Pleasant Hill, LA. She passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her residence in Belmont, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis Gene and Linda Harris; grandchild, Baby Byles; in-laws, Eugene Sattler and Shirley Sattler; sister-in-law, Silvia Reynolds; nephews, baby boy Harris and Heath Nichols and her life-long friend, Jennifer Anders.
