Sheriff Aaron Mitchell announces the arrest of Jerald Dwayne Shepherd (age-24) of Many at Apollo Plaza Apartments yesterday afternoon, April 7, 2026.
The Sabine Parish Sheriff Tactical Narcotics Team has been investigating the illegal drug sales activity of Shepherd at Apollo Apartments for several months. T.N.T. Agents were able to locate Shepherd and seized marijuana, synthetic marijuana, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded .45 auto pistol.
Shepherd was arrested and booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center for: Possession with intent to distribute schedule I (Marijuana), Possession with intent to distribute schedule I (Synthetic Cannabinoids), 2-counts of Possession with intent to distribute schedule II (Meth), Possession with intent to distribute schedule II (Crack Cocaine), Second or subsequent offenses, Possession of firearm in presence of CDS,
Possession of firearm by person convicted of certain felonies, Possession of drug paraphernalia.
No bond has been set at this time.
