Mary Laverne Paddie

Funeral services for Mary Laverne Paddie, 93, of Noble, LA, will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Keith Garvin officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Catherine Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Zwolle LA.

Mary Laverne Paddie was born on Saturday, April 19, 1930 in Catuna, LA. She passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Manual Procell and Evaline (Paddie) Procell; husband, J. R. Paddie, Sr.; sons, Curtis Paddie, Perry Paddie and Johnnie Paddie; six sisters; two brothers; grandsons, Richard Procell and Curt Paddie and her greatgreat grandchildren, Sophia and Greyson.

She is survived by her son, Robert L. Paddie of Keithville, LA; daughters, Wanda Larue and husband Donald of Zwolle, LA; Annette Paddie of Zwolle, LA and Myrtle Miller and husband Paul of Florien, LA; special daughter, Sandy Lovelady of Zwolle, LA; brothers, Joe Procell of Converse, LA and J. R. Procell and wife Mary of Karnack, TX; grandchildren: Pam, Joey, Keith, Lisa, Lana, Thomas, Waylon, Misty, Lori, Kelley, John Melvin, Jason, Joy, Ginger, Lil Bobbie, Jessica and Hannah; along with a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Lil Bobby G. Paddie, Lil Joe Lopez, Joshua Rivers, Kallen Etheridge, John Melvin Miller and Keith Lopez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Paddie and Joey Lopez. The family would like to give a special thanks to Toledo Nursing Center for all the loving care Mary received a year and four days in your care.
