Jeffrey Louis ‘Pop’ Sullivan
Mr. Jeffrey Louis ‘Pop’ Sullivan of Zwolle, LA, was born on Monday, August 11, 1958 in Beaumont, Texas, to parents Robert Louis ‘Pooch’ Sullivan and Ima Jean Hays. After graduating LaPorte High School, Jeff spent his career in the oil field industry. Upon retirement, he enjoyed working with his oldest son in the automation industry at TMT Solutions. On April 11, 1981 he married the love of his life, Melanie Leone Sullivan. He passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Marcos, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Louis ‘Pooch’ Sullivan and Ima Jean Hays; siblings, Steven Madeley, Sharon Bodie, Carol A. Wade; father- in-law, Herman Leone; brother-in-law, Roger ‘Moose’ Leone; sister-in-law, Katherine A. Leone; nephew, Walter ‘Rusty’ F. Madeley IV He is survived by: his wife of 42 years, Melanie Sullivan; his children Terrance Sullivan and wife Brandy of San Marcos, Steven Sullivan of Zwolle and Lauren Veuleman and husband, Trey of Zwolle; grandchildren, Josh Sullivan and Torie, Ava Veuleman, and Ben Veuleman; great-granddaughter, Maya; Motherin- Law, Charlene Leone; brother, Walter ‘Sonny’ F. Madeley III; sister, Jeanie Williamson; Aunts, Shirley Hays Miller and Millie Bland; host of family & relatives; his furbabies, Stella, Falcon & Hurley Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2023, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, located at 1008 Obrie Street in Zwolle.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Zwolle with Bro. Jerry Penfield and Bro. Marty Williams officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Zwolle with Father Keith Garvin officiating.
