Jimmy Edwards

Graveside services honoring the life of Jimmy Edwards, 76, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Converse, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be David Hill.

Jimmy was born on July 26, 1942, to Clarence and Sylvia Edwards in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Maisy Mc-Gee Edwards; his second wife, Beci Edwards; his son, Christopher Dale Edwards; his brother, Charles Edwards; and sister Daisy Joan Mitchell. Left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Kathy Davis and husband, Steven; grandchildren, Catherine Davis, Sabrina Love and husband, Dalton, Samantha Davis, Shayna Brown and husband, Tyler, Liberty Benitez, Delanie Benitez, Ben Davis, Brandon Davis, Landon Davis, Darci Benitez, Douglas Benitez, and Sam Benitez; great-grandchild, Kameron Thomas; his niece Gale Yochum and family. Honoring Jimmy as pallbearers will be Steven Davis, Darrell Harris, Dalton Love, Benjamin Davis, Brandon Davis, and Landon Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Benitez and Douglas Benitez.
