Jerry Raymond Miller

Funeral services for Jerry Miller, 64, of Florien were held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Hornbeck Full Gospel Church with Rev. Edward Freeman officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Jerry Miller was born on Friday, October 18, 1957 in Shreveport. He passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Wilmer Miller and Dorothy Faye Miller; sister, Vivian Brevelle; grandparents, ER and LeOnnie Richards; grandmother, Lula Pernissia Elliot Richards; and grandparents, Henry and Martha Miller.

He is survived by his wife of 45 1/2 years Juanita Kay Miller of Florien; daughter, Kimberly Alicia Bridges and husband Dale Bridges of Florien; son, Johnathan Miller and fiancé Rebecca Crist of Leesville.

He is survived by five sisters, Martha Dyess of Many; Wilma Self and husband Monroe of Ringold; Linda Thibodeaux and husband Lee of Many; Pamela Piha-Paul and husband Roger of Houston, Texas; and Beatrice Lewis of Pleasant Hill.

He is survived by nine grandchildren, Camryn Lee and husband Cameron; Matthew Miller and wife BreAnna; Joshua Bridges and fiancé Jolee Phillip; Zachary Bridges; Hannah Miller; Ethan Miller; Elizabeth McLain; Tristan McLain; and Annabelle Ouzts; and three great grandchildren, Remington Adkins; Emmory Faye Miller; and Noah Phillips.

Pallbearers: Shannon Self, Bradley Self, Brian Miller, Bobby Goodman, Albert Hebert, Shannon Dyess, Steve Mothershed, Stone Mothershed, Cameron Lee, Matthew Miller, Joshua Bridges and Zachary Bridges.
