When the Many Tigers took to the road in the third week of the season to meet up with the Loyola Prep Flyers, head coach Jess Curtis had his skill players work on how to keep a handle on a wet football. It worked as the Tigers had no turnovers and won the game, 14-7. So when the weather conditions were predicted to be subpar for their Class 2A second-round playoff matchup against No. 16 Springfield, Curtis decided to bring out the wet footballs once again.
